Privacy policy

Revision of September 30, 2026 Under the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On personal data" (ZRU-547)

This policy explains what personal data the kongo.uz site collects, why and for how long we keep it, who can access it, and how to withdraw your consent or ask for deletion. The data controller is GIGALAB LLC (TIN 305607007); KONGO is the company's logistics business line.

By submitting a request you agree to the processing of your personal data under this policy. If you do not agree, do not submit the form: call or write to us instead, contact details are on the Contacts page.

1. What data we collect

Quote request. You provide:

  • your name and phone number;
  • the route (from and to), a description of the cargo, its weight and volume, the type of shipment, additional services, and the date the cargo is ready;
  • your company name, if you choose to give it;
  • your preferred way to be contacted (call, Telegram, WhatsApp, email) and an email address if you pick email;
  • a free-form comment.

Callback request. Your name and phone number.

Technical data of the request. Together with the form the site sends the address of the page the request was submitted from, the page language, the referrer and advertising link tags (UTM), and the time it took to fill in the form, which is used for spam protection. The request intake service sees the sender's IP address and uses it to limit the number of requests from one address.

Correspondence and calls. Whatever you tell a manager by phone, in Telegram, in WhatsApp or by email.

Tracker data. Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica collect information about your visit: which pages you opened, where you clicked, which device and browser you used, and your approximate region. See section 5 for details. Your name, phone number, email and form text are not sent to the trackers: only the request number from the submitted request reaches them.

We do not ask for data that is not needed to calculate a quote and arrange a shipment.

2. Why

We process data in order to:

  • contact you and respond to your request;
  • calculate the cost and transit time and prepare an offer;
  • conclude and perform a carriage or freight forwarding contract, if you decide to work with us;
  • answer your enquiries and questions;
  • protect the form from spam and abuse;
  • understand how visitors use the site and make it easier to use, which is what the trackers are for.

The basis for processing your request data is your consent, given by ticking the box in the form.

3. Where it is stored and for how long

Requests. A request arrives in the company's internal notification system, where it is seen by the managers assigned to handle it. The request intake service also writes accepted requests, together with the sender's IP address, to its technical log. The service does not keep a separate database of requests. The servers that run the site, the request intake service and the notification system are located in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Retention. We keep request data no longer than needed to reply to you and continue working on the request. If a request leads to a contract, the data needed to perform and account for it is kept as part of contract and accounting records for the periods set by law. Technical logs are used only for diagnostics and are not kept longer than necessary.

Trackers. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically. Retention of Yandex Metrica data and Webvisor recordings is set by the service's settings and Yandex rules.

Protection. A request is sent over a secure connection (HTTPS). Access to requests is limited to employees who need it for their work. The form is protected against automated submissions, and the number of requests from one address is limited.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data and do not pass it to third parties for advertising. The recipients are:

  • employees of GIGALAB LLC who are assigned to work with requests and contracts;
  • Google LLC (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics) and Yandex (Yandex Metrica, Webvisor), which receive tracker data: visits, actions on the site, device information and approximate region. Data from the request form is not sent to them;
  • hosting and infrastructure providers on which the site and the request intake service run, to the extent needed for them to operate;
  • messaging and email services (Telegram, WhatsApp, email), if you choose them to communicate with a manager;
  • carriers and customs brokers, if the request becomes a contract, and only the data needed to carry out the shipment;
  • government authorities, in the cases and manner required by law.

Privacy policies of the tracker providers: Google, Yandex.

5. Cookies and trackers

Cookies are small files that your browser stores on your device. The site does not set cookies itself: they are set only by the trackers loaded through Google Tag Manager (container GTM-T5KWLPVD).

Which services run

  • Google Tag Manager loads the trackers on the site's pages and does not store visitor data itself.
  • Google Analytics 4 (G-X3Z0V50ER9) provides visit statistics: pages, traffic sources, devices and browsers, approximate region, and actions on the site: clicks on phone, Telegram, WhatsApp and email, language switches, form start and submission, submission errors.
  • Yandex Metrica (counter 105343084) provides the same statistics plus Webvisor, a recording of actions on the page (mouse movement, clicks, scrolling) that shows us where visitors get stuck. Webvisor does not record the contents of form fields: what you type into a form does not appear in the recording.

Tracker events do not contain your name, phone number, email or field text. After a request is submitted, only its number is sent, and it cannot identify you without access to our internal system.

Which cookies are set

Cookie Service Purpose Lifetime
_ga Google Analytics tells one visitor from another up to 2 years
_ga_* Google Analytics keeps session state up to 2 years
_ym_uid Yandex Metrica visitor identifier up to 1 year
_ym_d Yandex Metrica date of the first visit up to 1 year
_ym_isad Yandex Metrica detects whether the visitor sees ads up to 2 days
_ym_visorc Yandex Metrica Webvisor operation for the session

Cookie lifetimes are given according to the services' documentation and may change.

Besides cookies, the site keeps the referrer and UTM tags in the browser for the life of the tab so that they can be attached to a request. They are deleted when the tab is closed.

Where data is processed. Tracker data is processed on Google and Yandex servers, including outside Uzbekistan.

How to opt out

The site works without the trackers. There is no separate cookie consent window on the site: by continuing to use the site you agree to the trackers running, and you can opt out at any time using the methods above.

6. How to request deletion

Under the Law "On personal data" you have the right to:

  • find out whether we process your data and get a copy of it;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate data;
  • ask us to delete your data or stop processing it;
  • withdraw your consent to processing;
  • file a complaint with the authorized government body or a court.

How to contact us. Write or call us using the contact details on the Contacts page. Give the name and phone number you left in the form, or the request number (like K-260925-0042), and say what you need: a copy of your data, a correction, deletion or withdrawal of consent. To avoid giving your data to someone else, we may ask you to confirm that the request comes from you.

What we will do. We will review your request and reply within the period set by law. We will delete your data from requests and working logs and, once you withdraw consent, stop processing it. We may keep only what we are required by law to keep, for example documents under a concluded contract.

Tracker data is not linked to your name or phone number, so we cannot identify you from it. To stop its collection, use the opt-out methods in section 5.
