About the serviceA full truck from Turkey to Tashkent takes 11 to 22 days. Groupage (LTL) takes 14 to 28. We count transit time from loading in Istanbul, Bursa or Mersin to unloading in Tashkent. Turkey and Uzbekistan do not share a border, so the main route crosses three countries and a sea: Georgia, Azerbaijan, the Caspian Sea and Kazakhstan.
The truck leaves Istanbul and crosses into Georgia at Sarpi. It drives through Georgia, enters Azerbaijan at Red Bridge and continues to the port of Alat. There it is loaded onto a ferry that crosses the Caspian Sea to Aktau in Kazakhstan. From Aktau the truck drives across Kazakhstan and enters Uzbekistan at the Tazhen — Daut-Ata crossing. Import customs clearance is done in Uzbekistan.
Transit time by loading city:

For Istanbul the time adds up roughly like this: 8–10 days on the road, about a day for loading, 1–3 days at Sarpi, half a day to a day at Red Bridge, 2–5 days for the ferry, and 1–2 days to enter Uzbekistan and clear customs. The total of 11–22 days is not a simple sum of the highest values, because delays at every stage at once are rare. The upper limit allows for the worst case only at the narrowest point, and on this route that is the ferry.
The ferry is the least predictable link. Its 2–5 days are made up of waiting for a place, 1 to 4 days, and the crossing itself, about a day. This is what decides whether a truck arrives in 11 days or in 22. The second most important point is the Sarpi border, where we allow 1 to 3 days. If the route includes several borders, add a day for weekends, when checkpoints work more slowly.
There is also a backup route through Iran and Turkmenistan. It uses the Gürbulak and Bazargan, Sarakhs and Farap — Alat crossings and takes about 10–18 days by full truck. This figure is an estimate: the manager will confirm the transit conditions for Turkmenistan when preparing your quote. The option is worth discussing in advance, in case the ferry is overloaded.
Groupage takes 3–6 days longer than a full truck: the truck is put together from several consignments, and this takes time.
The most common cargo from Turkey is textiles, building materials, furniture, household chemicals and food. A full truck makes sense from 10 tonnes or 40 m³, and we use tilt trucks, reefers and container carriers. For food that needs a set temperature, choose a reefer and say so in your request. For smaller loads, use groupage, starting from a few pallets.
From your supplier you need the invoice, the packing list and the contract. If your goods require certificates, for example a certificate of conformity or a phytosanitary certificate, ask the supplier for them in advance: without them the cargo can be held at the border.
We take care of the rest: we prepare the CMR consignment note, the TIR carnet and the customs declaration, and we select the HS code from the description of your goods. If you need a certificate of origin, we help you obtain it. We check the set of documents before dispatch, because cargo is most often held up by a mistake in the invoice or a missing certificate.
